Hygiene On Wheels is a nonprofit organization providing basic and essential hygiene services to the homeless. Having access to water and sanitation is a basic human right and we are committed to bringing dignity and hope to those living on the streets.
Are you passionate about what we're doing? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. We're excited to have you join the team!
Whether you help through monetary donations, clothing and other essential items, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth- thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
People experiencing homelessness face a significant barrier to health and hygiene services. While there are several organizations that seek to provide these needs, it is sometimes very difficult to know where and how to get there. Travelling on public transportation can also be stressful due to the shame or humiliation of having to travel in an unclean state.
As part of our commitment to providing access to basic hygiene and sanitation services for Toronto's homeless population, we will be hosting a Hygiene Pop-Up and Street Store. We've teamed up with various barbers across the city to provide free haircuts. Our Street Store will provide articles of clothing and personal care supplies. Our first Pop-Up takes place in July at 545 Lakeshore Blvd West.
To donate your services or for more information please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are currently accepting the following donations for our Hygiene Pop-up and Free clothing Street Store:
